Belt Testing and Promotions

• New Belt Colors are earned through promotional testings held every 8-9 weeks

• To be eligible to test for higher rank, students must meet class minimums during the 8-9 week cycle

• New skill sets are introduced at the beginning of each cycle

• The testing results are given to each student the
  
  
  week following the test during a special awards ceremony.

 

Tournaments

• Tournaments are held twice a year.
• All ranks and all styles are eligible to compete. 
• Overall school point leader each year.
